  • Please do not smoke or carry animals in the vehicle

DECLARATION

In accepting a Little Knox courtesy car, I acknowledge that it is your property and is provided to me on loan subject to the following conditions.

Little Knox are responsible for arranging and maintaining comprehensive insurance cover, I will, however, be liable to pay uninsured excess for the vehicle whilst it is in my possession

1.  I agree to return the vehicle on or before the completion of work to my vehicle or such date as may be specified by prior notice, which need not be in writing. I will replenish or pay for the fuel used.

2.  I agree to keep and maintain the vehicle at my expense in good condition and repair throughout the period it is in my custody and control and will be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by failure to observe and check at regular intervals the level of engine oil and other lubricants, water and anti-freeze and tyre pressures. I will indemnify and keep indemnified Little Knox Limited against any loss, claim or action arising out of my failure to perform any obligation under this agreement.

3. The vehicle will only be driven by me or a person authorised by you and the vehicle will only be used for social, domestic and pleasure purposes or for my own business purposes.

4.  I will be responsible for all penalties and charges of any nature which arise as a result of breach of statutory or any other regulations or any civil law in connection with or in relation to the use and operation of the vehicle whilst it is in my custody and control including but not limited to any of the following offences which may be committed with respect to that vehicle whilst it is in my possession when it is stationary and when a fixed penalty notice is issued

4.1 being on a road during the hours of darkness without lights or reflectors required by law

4.2 waiting or being left parked or being unloaded or loaded, in a road.

4.3 non-payment of the charge made at a street parking place

4.4 any excess which may be incurred in pursuance of an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

5.  Whenever the vehicle is left unattended the ignition keys or card will be removed, the doors and the boot locked, and any security system activated.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE CONDITIONS OF LOAN AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THEM.
